At Newbridge, our curriculum is purposefully designed to challenge and inspire.

As an Independent School, we are not bound by the National Curriculum, allowing us to craft a personalised and ambitious programme of study that supports every child to reach their full potential. In the later years, our curriculum is carefully aligned with the demands of senior school entrance exams at 11+, guided by our experienced staff whose professional judgement in this area has a proven record of success.

Beyond core subjects, our pupils benefit from a wide range of enriching lessons embedded into the school day, including weekly specialist dance from Reception with NATD examinations from Year One, drama from Year Three with LAMDA and Dudley Festival preparation, and French lessons starting in Reception and increasing to an hour per week in Year Six. Mindfulness and meditation are also taught from Nursery as part of our PSHEe programme, supporting wellbeing and focus from the earliest years.
