On Friday 10 May, Year 4 were visited by Ros Manasseh who led a Discovery Arts award day. The girls in Year Four looked at the paintings of Vincent Van Gogh and discussed his techniques, use of colour and overall style. They then had to complete a series of tricky tasks including drawing with their non-dominant hand and continuous line portraits. The girls designed their own tiles based on portraits which they then printed to produce a series of finished pictures which are currently on display in the Year 4 classroom. Finally the girls had to give an individual presentation about their work. Their Trinity Arts Awards will be arriving soon. Well done Year Four!
